Today marked our first visit back to the Care Village with our new group of children, and it was a wonderful and positive experience for everyone involved.

The children settled into the environment beautifully and quickly began developing new relationships. It was lovely to observe the children forming meaningful connections through conversations, shared experiences and play.

These intergenerational visits provide valuable opportunities for our children to develop their social and emotional skills. They encourage children to build confidence when communicating with others, develop empathy and understanding, and form positive relationships with people of different ages.

We were particularly pleased to see the children showing kindness, respect and genuine interest in their older friends. The older residents responded warmly to the children, creating a welcoming and nurturing environment where everyone could enjoy spending time together.

Today was a wonderful start to our visits, and we look forward to continuing to nurture these relationships and supporting the children as their confidence and connections grow over the coming months.
