Wednesday 4th November

Today the children had a lovely time getting together with their older friends to make poppies and beautiful wreaths in preparation for Remembrance Day.

There were lots of smiles, creativity and special moments shared as everyone enjoyed making something together. Once finished, we hung the wreath from the ceiling to help decorate our space and create a reminder of this special occasion.

Activities like these give us an opportunity to talk about Remembrance Day in a gentle and meaningful way, helping children understand why we wear poppies and why it is so important to remember those who have served and given so much for us.

We are so proud of everyone who took part, and it was wonderful to see the generations coming together to create something so meaningful.
