This week at Forest School, the children became adventurous treasure hunters!
Armed with spades and plenty of imagination, they searched high and low for hidden treasure. They dug deep into the earth, uncovering all sorts of magical and mysterious discoveries. Every hole sparked excitement as the children shared their ideas about what they might find, creating wonderful stories about buried treasure and pirate worlds. Their imaginative play encouraged teamwork, problem-solving and curiosity about the natural environment.
The children also worked together to build a cosy den using branches carefully leaned against a tree. They discussed the best way to balance the sticks and make their shelter strong and sturdy. Once it was complete, the den became the perfect place to rest, chat and continue their woodland adventures. Building the den helped develop their cooperation, creativity and resilience as they explored different ways to construct their woodland hideaway.
It has been another fantastic week filled with exploration, teamwork, and imaginative play. We are looking forward to seeing where our Forest School adventures take us next!
