Today was a very busy and exciting day here at Winton Court, filled with learning, creativity, and some very special visitors!
We started the morning by introducing our adorable baby ducklings to our older friends. Everyone was excited to meet them and watch them explore their new surroundings. There were lots of smiles as residents enjoyed seeing the ducklings play, and some even had the opportunity to gently hold them. It was a wonderful experience that evoked some wonderful memories for our friends.
Later in the day, we welcomed Lydia from Groundworks, who delivered an engaging session all about recycling and sustainability. Lydia taught us about the importance of recycling and showed us how everyday household items can be reused in creative ways instead of being thrown away.
Working together, we transformed plastic bottles into beautiful plant pots. Everyone enjoyed getting involved, sharing ideas, and creating their own unique designs. It was fantastic to see so much creativity and teamwork throughout the activity.
