Creativity seems to emerge from multiple experiences, coupled with a well-supported development of personal resources, including a sense of freedom to venture beyond the known

Within the atelier children are given time to be curious and independent, developing lines of enquiry stemming from their own theories of how things work and why. Through projects children develop skills in collaborative design work, working with their senses and provoking new ideas deepening and embedding new learning. Children are free to express themselves using inspirational, thought-provoking resources and developing a respect for this truly special space.

The adult role – The Early Years Educator works with the child / children as their Co-researcher, acknowledging the child’s capabilities and extending their learning with open-ended and rich language provocation.
