Philosophy
The day to day management of Childsplay is conducted by the Manager who is responsible to the Executive Committee. This is composed of parents and staff elected at the Annual General Meeting. Our philosophy is that every parent has a vested interest in the well being of the Nursery. You will be actively encouraged to participate in its running at regular Open Meetings and the Annual General Meeting.
The objective of Childsplay is to provide the best possible child care services meeting the needs and expectations of working parents. The site, although central for Newcastle, is quietly located. Well equipped rooms are housed within a spacious and pleasant building.
Childsplay is registered with Ofsted and meets all the criteria required by Government National Standards. This underlines our commitment to provide quality child care and education within a family atmosphere. A caring environment where each child's individual personal development is stimulated and encouraged, has become a hallmark of Childsplay.
The nursery is registered for 70 children from birth to 5 years.
